Survey impact of good corporate governance (GCG) on economic value added (EVA) of Tehran Stock Exchange

Abstract

Abstract: Several factors have been identified in the literature of economic and management as factors affecting corporates’ performance in particular ability to access profit. among these factors that affect corporate’s performance are variables in both the corporate’s internal and external environment. The most important variables of Internal environment of corporates consists of structure, culture, human and financial resources. This paper is based on this premise that the bad performance of the corporates is due to weak management and bad corporate governance. For this study 90 companies of nine industries based of ISIC cod listed on Tehran stock exchange were selected as sample. Current study is applied study and based on data collecting is descriptive study. For collecting data is used of questionnaire and survey document. Finally for data analyzing was used of path analysis. Result of the path analysis, reveals that internal environment of organization, GCG, and EVA have significant positive and strength correlation and internal environment of companies increases EVA by reinforcement of GCG.
